TAS Farnham Young Arts Groups provide 8-18 year olds with a broad range of opportunities to engage with the arts. The waiting room at Farnham Station is regularly updated with art work from local schools, an innovation that has been copied by many other stations.

Young Arts activities include:

• working with arts professionals
• developing skills in researching, presenting, time-management and team-work
• museum guiding
• entering The Arts Society's Chairman's Competition

Some Young Arts participants also have the opportunity to become accredited by the Duke of Edinburgh's Award Scheme.

In 2019 they completed a Young Explorers Discovery trail. Copies can be downloaded from the documents section of the website or are available at the library and council offices.

Their two most recent ventures were School's competitions utilising waste material.
